Pore clearing face masks work by drawing out any dirt or whatever else is clogging your pores and bringing it to the surface so you can wash it off. As the dirt etc. reaches the surface of your skin, it can cause pimples, but that means the mask is working. It’s totally normal for this to happen after using a mask, and as long as you keep up a good skincare regimen they should clear up pretty quickly and become less apparent after your next mask.
